How we achieve the #YouthEmpowered Goals
The Offline Training Workshop was designed to equip participants, particularly NYSC members, university, and polytechnic students, with essential skills for navigating the business environment.
To effectively implement the program and target the appropriate audience, MindTheGap Foundation collaborated with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to connect with youth who aligned with the program's objectives. Additionally, partnerships with the State Ministries of Youth enabled outreach to local government officials and young entrepreneurs within the regions. This strategic engagement also attracted the participation of key stakeholders.
The training sessions were conducted over two days (different audience) or one day in some states, depending on the context, with participants actively engaging in breakout sessions. This structure was adopted to ensure a high-quality learning experience, foster an interactive and conducive environment, and align with the program’s overarching goals.
Facilitators were carefully selected based on their expertise and underwent a train-the-trainer session to familiarize themselves with the curriculum and guarantee effective delivery. A blended approach, combining lectures, interactive discussions, and practical exercises, was employed to enhance learning outcomes and ensure participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
