Welcome to Digital Literacy CDS – a dedicated Community Development Service (CDS) group of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), passionate about driving digital transformation across Nigeria. We believe that digital literacy is not just a skill, but a fundamental right and a powerful tool for socio-economic empowerment.
Our mission is to bridge the digital divide, equipping Nigerian youth with essential digital skills for academic excellence and career readiness, and empowering local businesses to leverage digital tools for growth, efficiency, and expanded market reach.
Our Goals
- Every member should have a clear understanding of their Digital or Digital enabled career path.
- Every member acquires 5 strategic, OnDemand, and soft skills.
- Every member must belong to a Mastermind group of 5, supporting one another to succeed.
- Every member must belong and be committed to one of the 4 project groups of the CDS.
- All members must participate in the DL4ALL project in pairs, and train a minimum of 200 monthly in the informal sector in their host community
