Job Title: Data Entry Officer
Location: Ibafo, Ogun State
Department: Operations/Administration
Reports To: Operations Manager
SALARY: 120,000-150,000
Job Summary
The Data Entry Officer will be responsible for accurately capturing, updating, and maintaining operational, production, inventory, and administrative data within the company’s systems. The role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Input production, inventory, procurement, and operational data into company databases and ERP systems.
Verify data accuracy before entry and correct inconsistencies where necessary.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Maintain electronic and physical records of plant activities.
Update stock movement and inventory records.
Assist departments in compiling and analyzing operational information.
Ensure data confidentiality and security at all times.
Retrieve and provide information as requested by management.
Perform routine database backups and record management tasks.
Support administrative functions as assigned.
Requirements
OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in data entry or administrative support.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data management systems.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Experience in a manufacturing or processing environment will be an added advantage.
