“About the roleThis is a hybrid role with two days a week working in person at our Lagos office. The remaining working days are remote.We’re looking for a content creator who can take an idea from planning to a finished piece of content. You’ll shadow and work alongside our Content Director on videos, interviews and social posts for Aruwa Capital Management.The role combines storytelling, video editing, writing and hands-on production. You should be comfortable making content yourself and improving it based on feedback.What you’ll doEdit short videos, founder interviews and event footage for social media.Help plan and record interviews, shoots and behind-the-scenes content.Turn longer interviews and ideas into clear, engaging short-form content.Research topics, develop content ideas, and write captions and interview questions.Prepare content for publishing, including subtitles, sound, formatting and basic quality checks.Keep footage and project files organised, manage feedback, and meet agreed deadlines.What we expectYou already create content. This could be on your own social accounts, for clients, for a community or at work.You can edit video. Use the tools you know well; show us the quality of your work.You can tell a clear story. Choose a useful angle, structure the content, and write accurately.You are reliable.
